Last Thursday 10th December, I made my BBC Question Time debut with a virtual audience from Chelmsford. We discussed a range of topics, including racism in football after Millwall fans booed their players for taking a knee at the start of their match against Derby. My response to the issue can be viewed here.
I used the opportunity to highlight the infection rates that we’re dealing with in Redbridge, and to emphasise the importance of following the guidance. So many sacrifices have been made by all of us throughout the pandemic, and this can be incredibly disheartening when Government have made serious mistake after serious mistake, however I’m urging everyone at this moment to exercise some personal responsibility and to pull together to help us all stay safe over the Christmas period and the following months. You can watch me speaking on this here.
