I’m delighted that the Avanti Schools Trust has now been given approval by the Secretary of State for an Avanti Secondary School in Redbridge.

This is as long as the trust can identify a suitable site for the school and secure enough funding by Monday 16th September 2019.

The Avanti Schools Trust already run a brilliant school in my constituency, Avanti Court Primary School in Barkingside (who visited me in Parliament last year) and now they are looking for pledges to help them meet their funding goal for their new secondary school in Redbridge.
