The Prime Minister is meeting European Union leaders today to try and secure further concessions. She is doomed to fail.

What she’s agreed is a deal that will:

– Leave us subject to EU rules, but with no say over them
– Leave us unable to have an independent trade policy, and even if we do, we will not be able to replace the value of our trade with the EU
– Leave us negotiating for years, if not decades, over the important issues that she’s failed to resolve after two years of negotiations.

By delaying the vote, the Prime Minister is delaying the inevitable.

People should decide whether to accept the final deal.

Here’s my question to the Prime Minister yesterday:
