It was an amazing and historic night at the Speaker’s House yesterday for the first ever Big Iftar in Parliament.

The Big Iftar brings people of different faiths together during Ramadan to share food and enjoy good conversation.

As Co-Chair, I’m so proud of The APPG on British Muslims team for making this happen.

We had brilliant cross-party speakers (including Sajid Javid, Diane Abbott MP and The Speaker!) and performers before breaking fast together. #TheBigIftar
