A big thank you to South Woodford Mosque and Redbridge Islamic Centre for their warm welcome today as part of #VisitMyMosque Day – organised by The Muslim Council of Britain. I’m proud to represent such a diverse community in Redbridge and proud of the contribution that Muslims make to every aspect of our society.

Given how much misinformation and misreporting goes on about one of the world’s great religions, it’s fantastic that so many mosques open their doors so that people can learn more about Islam and Muslims.
