Shadow Health Minister Counts the Cost of Cameron to the NHS

Liz Kendall MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Minister, was on Barkingside High Street today with Parliamentary Candidate Wes Streeting to highlight the cost of Cameron’s government to our NHS.

Under the Tories, we’ve lost maternity at King George Hospital and the A&E has been earmarked for closure. Our local NHS Trust is in special measures, with one of the worst A&E services in England.

Liz Kendall MP said: “David Cameron needs to get a grip on the NHS in Redbridge. Instead of wasting billions on a top-down reorganisation, he should be addressing some of the serious issues affecting the Trust.”

Wes Streeting said: “It was great to have Liz Kendall with us to campaign on the NHS. We’re being badly let down by the government and local residents deserve better than this.”
