Merry Christmas!

I'd like to wish everyone in Ilford North and beyond a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Today, as well as spending time with my family, I'm visiting Café 104 in Barkingside, where they're laying on a free three-course meal with entertainment for pensioners who'd otherwise be spending the day on their own. The Mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Barbara White, will also be visiting.

I'd also like to extend a special thank you to Ron Jeffries for lending me this wonderful photograph of St Peter's Church, Aldborough Hatch, for my Christmas card and message. I've been busy delivering over 30,000 of my Christmas cards to homes across Ilford North and I'm especially grateful to the volunteers who helped stuff and deliver them with me.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
