Wes visits Ilford Jewish Primary School

Wes visited Ilford Jewish Primary School today to take a look around the building and to meet Year 6 for a Q&A.

After meeting with the Head and Governors Wes attended assembly, learned a new song (with actions!) and was then given a tour by three excellent pupil representatives.

Following the visit, Wes said: "I was really impressed with the school's facilities, particularly the outdoor play area and even got to play a few of the digital games!

"Year 6 pupils did an outstanding Q&A. Today they ranged from how I became and MP and what challenges I face through to what I think about tube ticket office closures and Britain's relationships with the international community! The class voted for me to raise the issue of gun control and security in Parliament, so I will be doing that at the earliest opportunity and sending the school a video clip and a copy of Hansard!"
